PROFESSIONAL COUNSELOR (FULL-TIME)
Cross Connections, a faith-based Christian counseling ministry, is seeking passionate and dedicated Professional Counselors to join our team. We have two full-time positions available.
About the Role:
If you are a Master's-level therapist who is licensed or working toward licensure, and are interested in serving with other professionally trained counselors at a local, established non-profit, we want to hear from you! Cross Connections is a referral-based (churches, schools, ministries, insurance providers (all major providers including Medicaid) & self-referrals) ministry providing affordable, professional counseling integrated with prayer and scripture. We serve individuals, couples, and families in a supportive and meaningful way through sessions, seminars, workshops and retreats.

Periodically, Cross Connections conducts a fundraising campaign with a specifically stated goal to attain over a specific amount of time. The campaign highlights the need and offers the donor the opportunity to participate in the excitement of reaching the established goal together with the ministry. These usually take place on social media and many times have matching grants to add to the challenge of coming together for the shared cause. Giving Tuesdays are one such campaign that occurs each year and encourages givers to participate with other ministry lovers across the country. Giving Tuesday is held annually on the first Tuesday in December.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
BOARD OF DIRECTORS: The Board of Directors at Cross Connections is the policy-based governance team that sets the vision for the ministry and advocates for the ministry in our community. Comprised of 12 members serving three-year terms, the Board of Directors meets every other month at the administrative offices to provide guidance, set goals and objectives, and plan ways to raise awareness in our area. The Board of Directors has four subcommitttees that meet monthly: Finance, Governance, Development, and Executive. Members serving on the Board of Directors are required to sign and uphold the Cross Connections Statement of Faith (located in the Who We Are section of the main page of this website), in addition to an annual Conflict of Interest form. COVENANT PARTNERS: Covenant Partners (CP's) are the lay counseling portion of Cross Connections and serve in one of four disciplines: Emotions, Transitions, Family and Parenting, and Marriage. Please click
EVENT COMMITTEES: One of the ways that the Lord provides for the financial needs of the ministry is through fundraising. There are three fundraisers each year: "It's a Spring Thing", Golf Outing, and Fall Festival.
